Fifty seven years ago Roger Reichert opened his first Chevrolet dealership in Crystal Lake. Before that he was a factory rep for General Motors. He saw his opportunity to get his own piece of the American dream and took it. At the time Crystal Lake was mainly a farm community much less developed than it looks today. Since then he and later his son John have sold over 50,000 General Motors vehicles here in Crystal Lake & Woodstock. Reichert currently employs 93 people many of whom live right here in the Crystal Lake area. Reichert Chevy Buick Pontiac attributes their longevity and success to one thing: Treating people right & taking care of them like family.
